WHAT DOES A DESIGN THINKER DO?
A design thinker is someone who wants to find innovative ways to solve issues. It does not matter what background you come from as long as you are willing to have an open mind, learn and empathize with your user. It is also important to leave behind your perceptions and previous knowledge in order to reshape your way of thinking and find yourself thinking through different points of view.
WHO CAN DO THIS COURSE?
This bootcamp is open for professionals from different backgrounds that have an interest in finding new ways of solving issues through design thinking. However, don´t worry, you don’t have to be a designer to think like one! What is important is having the intention to learn, create and innovate. Different profiles and different backgrounds will just make the experience richer.
HOW DO WE PREPARE YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE AS A DESIGN THINKER?

The first step is to research as much as you can in order to understand the experience of the user for whom you are designing. This will be done through field work, interviews, observations and most importantly by empathizing and placing yourself in their shoes.
DEFINE AND IDEATE
Define your objectives and paths you will follow in order to solve your issue in the most innovative and efficient way.
You will engage in a journey where you will learn different idea generation techniques as well as different user experience methods.
This is your opportunity to test, listen to you user and create a prototype that fits the needs of your user. This can be either be a web site, a user journey, app or service.
VALIDATE AND LEAN STARTUP
The last step is to validate and test your final idea. Learn how it works and learn how to sell it. You will engage in a star-up process and create a business model for your idea. The results will surprise you.
